These terms and conditions shall govern your use of this System.

By using this System, you accept these terms and conditions in full; accordingly, if you disagree with these terms and conditions or any part of these terms and conditions, you must not use this System.
If you register with System or use any of System services, System will ask you to expressly agree to these terms and conditions.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use this System; by using System or agreeing to these terms and conditions, you warrant and represent to System that you are at least 18 years of age.
System uses cookies; by using this System or agreeing to these terms and conditions, you consent GLC to use cookies in accordance with the terms of Privacy and Cookies policy.
System is also compliant with the provisions of law applicable in India, as amended from time to time by the Government of India.

Definitions:-

'System' means this software, website, system or as may be named in the context of present agreement as may be relevant. Since, it will not proper to call this system as "website" or "software" keeping view its functionalities, as such, the same is being called preferrably as "System".

'GLC' means "General Law Consultants" and its management, wherever it may appears either in this agreement, contents on this system, email or system notifications etc.

'Law' means Constitution of India, Acts, Rules, Notifications, Regulations enacted by the Government of India or any other competent authority of Government of India and also include the Acts, Rules, Notifications, Regulations applicable in India from time to time as per law.

'Agreement' means this agreement and also include any other agreement, policy etc. as may be adopted by GLC for the betterment and security of the system as well as welfare of its Users and Members.

Licence to use System:-
You may:
View pages from this System in a web browser;
Download pages from this System for caching in a web browser;
Print pages from this System;
Do any other act subject to the other provisions of these terms and conditions.
Except as expressly permitted by Clause 'A' or the other provisions of these terms and conditions, you must not download any material from this System or save any such material to your computer.
You may only use this System for your own personal and business purposes, and you must not use this System for any other purposes.
Except as expressly permitted by these terms and conditions, you must not edit or otherwise modify any material on this System.
Unless you own or control the relevant rights in the material, you must not:
republish material from this System (including republication on another website);
sell, rent or sub-license material from this System;
show any material from this System in public;
exploit material from this System for a commercial purpose; and
redistribute material from this System.
Notwithstanding in this Clause, you may redistribute our newsletter in print and electronic form to any person.
GLC reserve the right to restrict access to this System in any area, or indeed whole of this System, at our discretion; you must not circumvent or bypass, or attempt to circumvent or bypass, any access restriction measures on this System.
Prohibited Actions:-
You must not:
use this System in any way or take any action that causes, or may cause, damage to this System or impairment of the performance, availability or accessibility of this System;
use this System in any way that is unlawful, illegal, fraudulent or harmful, or in connection with any unlawful, illegal, fraudulent or harmful purpose or activity;
use this System to copy, store, host, transmit, send, use, publish or distribute any material which consists of (or is linked to) any spyware, computer virus, Trojan horse, worm, keystroke logger, rootkit or other malicious computer software;
conduct any systematic or automated data collection activities (including without limitation scraping, data mining, data extraction and data harvesting) on or in relation to this System without our express written consent;
access or otherwise interact with this System using any robot, spider or other automated means, except for the purpose of search engine indexing;
violate the directives set out in the robots.txt file for this System; or
use data collected from this System for any direct marketing activity (including without limitation email marketing, SMS marketing, telemarketing and direct mailing).
You must not use data collected from this System to contact individuals, companies or other persons or entities.
Registration and User Accounts:-
You may register for an account with this System by completing and submitting the account registration form on this System, and clicking on the verification link in the email that this System will send to you.
You must not allow any other person to use your account to access this System.
You must notify GLC in writing immediately if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account.
You must not use any other person's account to access this System, unless you have that person's express permission to do so.
User login Details:-
If you register for an account with this System, you will be asked to choose a user email and password.
Your registered email must not be liable to mislead and must comply with the 'Content Rules' set out in this agreement; you must not use your account or email for or in connection with the impersonation of any person.
You must keep your password confidential.
You must change your password immediately if you become aware of any disclosure of your password.
You are responsible for any activity on this System arising out of any failure to keep your password confidential, and may be held liable for any losses arising out of such a failure.
Your Content: Rules:-
You warrant and represent that your content will comply with these terms and conditions.
Your content must not be illegal or unlawful, must not infringe any person's legal rights, and must not be capable of giving rise to legal action against any person (in each case in any jurisdiction and under any applicable law).
Your content, and the use of your content by the System in accordance with these terms and conditions, must not:
be libellous or maliciously false;
be obscene or indecent;
infringe any copyright, moral right, database right, trade mark right, design right, right in passing off, or other intellectual property right;
infringe any right of confidence, right of privacy or right under data protection legislation;
constitute negligent advice or contain any negligent statement;
constitute an incitement to commit a crime [instructions for the commission of a crime or the promotion of criminal activity];
be in contempt of any court, or in breach of any court order;
be in breach of racial or religious hatred or discrimination legislation;
be blasphemous;
be in breach of State Legislation by the Government of India as well as any other country from where you may be operating the System;
be in breach of any contractual obligation owed to any person;
constitute spam or such like activity;
cause annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety to any person.
Limited Warranties:-
The System do not warrant or represent:
the completeness or accuracy of the information published on this System;
that the material on this System is up to date; or
that this System or any service on this System will remain available.
GLC reserve the right to discontinue or alter any or all of this System services, and to stop publishing this System, at any time in our sole discretion without notice or explanation; and save to the extent expressly provided otherwise in these terms and conditions, you will not be entitled to any compensation or other payment upon the discontinuance or alteration of any System services, or if GLC stop publishing this System.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law and subject to 'Limitation and Exclusion' Clause in this agreement, GLC exclude all representations and warranties relating to the subject matter of these terms and conditions, this System and the use of this System.
Limitations and exclusions of liability:-
Nothing in these terms and conditions will:
limit any liabilities in any way that is not permitted under applicable law; or
exclude any liabilities that may not be excluded under applicable law.
The limitations and exclusions of liability set out in this Clause and elsewhere in these terms and conditions:
are subject to Sub-clause A; and
govern all liabilities arising under these terms and conditions or relating to the subject matter of these terms and conditions, including liabilities arising in contract, in tort (including negligence) and for breach of statutory duty, except to the extent expressly provided otherwise in these terms and conditions.
GLC will not be liable for any loss or damage of any nature.
GLC will not be liable to you in respect of any losses arising out of any event or events beyond our reasonable control.
GLC will not be liable to you in respect of any business losses, including (without limitation) loss of or damage to profits, income, revenue, use, production, anticipated savings, business, contracts, commercial opportunities or goodwill.
GLC will not be liable to you in respect of any loss or corruption of any data, database or software.
GLC will not be liable to you in respect of any special, indirect or consequential loss or damage.
You accept that GLC have an interest in limiting the personal liability of its officers and employees and, having regard to that interest, you acknowledge that GLC are a limited liability entity; you agree that you will not bring any claim personally against its officers or employees in respect of any losses you suffer in connection with this System or these terms and conditions (this will not, of course, limit or exclude the liability of the limited liability entity itself for the acts and omissions of its officers and employees).
Breaches of these terms and conditions:-
Without prejudice to GLC's other rights under these terms and conditions, if you breach these terms and conditions in any way, or if GLC reasonably suspect that you have breached these terms and conditions in any way, GLC may:
send you one or more formal warnings;
temporarily suspend your access to this System;
permanently prohibit you from accessing this System;
block computers using your IP address from accessing this System;
contact any or all of your internet service providers and request that they block your access to this System;
commence legal action against you, whether for breach of contract or otherwise;
suspend or delete your account on this System; and/or
report any activity of criminal nature to the law enforcing agenices.
Where GLC suspend or prohibit or block your access to this System or a part of this System, you must not take any action to circumvent such suspension or prohibition or blocking (including without limitation creating and/or using a different account).
Variation:-
GLC may revise these terms and conditions from time to time.
The revised terms and conditions shall apply to the use of this System from the date of publication of the revised terms and conditions on this System, and you hereby waive any right you may otherwise have to be notified of, or to consent to, revisions of these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to the revised terms and conditions, you must stop using this System.
If you have given your express agreement to these terms and conditions, GLC will ask for your express agreement to any revision of these terms and conditions; and if you do not give your express agreement to the revised terms and conditions within such period as GLC may specify, GLC will disable or delete your account on this System, and you must stop using this System.
Assignment:-
You hereby agree that GLC may assign, transfer, sub-contract or otherwise deal with our rights and/or obligations under these terms and conditions.
You may not without our prior written consent assign, transfer, sub-contract or otherwise deal with any of your rights and/or obligations under these terms and conditions.
Entire agreement:-
These terms and conditions together with our Privacy, Cookie policy, Data Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions of the Membership (if applicable) shall constitute the entire agreement between you and GLC in relation to your use of this System and shall supersede all previous agreements between you and GLC in relation to your use of this System.

Membership Terms and Conditions
About these Terms:-
GLC is trying to provide a platform by way of this System to the advocates to help and assist them in persuing the cases before the Court of law by managing their cummbersome record such as cases, clients and documents etc in a proper, systematic, effective and effortless manner. GLC is also trying to develop a system to enable the litigants to view status of their cases directly from the office of their counsel, and to interact and submit documents with very less possibility of misplace of their documents etc.
To pursue its goals, GLC operates a communication system devised to offer free contents to the users that are intended to be accessible to a broad audience, and to allow users to interact for the purpose of persuing their litigation. The System is available at 'https://onlineglc.com'.
The System has a Public Area which is accessible to all visitors and registered users. The System has a Members Area which is available to Users who are registered as Members and are logged in. The Members Area offers access to the part of System, which is necessary for management of an Advocate Office.
Activation and subscription take place via a dedicated online form on the System.
These Terms and Conditions of Membership establish the conditions of membership and the terms of use of the Members Area. A Member shall expressly accept these Terms on registration and is bound to comply with them.
Any new services, offered online in the Members Area after initial membership, shall also be governed by these Terms unless otherwise specified.
GLC reserves the right to amend the present Terms at any time and without prior notice and shall inform Members of such amendments at their next log-in. Members shall be deemed to have accepted such amendments if they continue to use the System even after such amendment.
Membership:-
Membership is open only to Advocates, Law-Firms or Body/Association of Advocates practising in the Courts of Law situated in the territorial jurisdiction of India.
Each User shall register only once.
The User shall register online to become a Member of this System.
Membership of this System shall be granted on payment of requisite activation charges and/or Subscription, as may be applicable at the relevent time.
Termination of Membership:-
Members can giveup their membership at any time by communicating their decision by email to 'surrender_membership@onlineglc.com' from their registered email.
If Members do not visit and login in the System or fails to pay the subscription amount (if applicable) for a continuous period of 365 days, the Membership will be suspended and after expiry of another 90 days, Membership will be deactivated.
Such Members can revive their membership at any time after paying the charges as may be applicable from time to time.
After the resignation or the termination of membership, GLC is entitled to continue without time limitation, to freely use in the System, emails, publications and advertisements, in full or in part, the contributions (text and other material), if any, such Member submitted to GLC before resignation or termination.
GLC reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue individual services and/or sections of the Members Area, or all of them, at any time and without prior notice, in whole or in part. GLC reserves the further right to limit or deny access to individual or all services, without prior notice at any time.
Use of the Members Area:-
GLC shall provide Members the access to use the Members Area for the purpose of interactively publishing, sharing, developing and creating Legal knowledge around the Country as well for the purpose of their office management.
The Members Area is designed to offer various tools to allow Members to organise themselves as a network and to create, review and publish member contributions (text and other material) in the pursuit of these goals.
Depending on their specific type, member contributions shall be automatically published in the Members Area only, or in part or fully in the Public Area too.
It is the responsibility of the Members to make sure that they do not include any confidential data in member contributions that are automatically published in the Public Area. GLC shall not be liable for any consequences arising from the publication in the Public Area of confidential data consecutive to the submission by a Member of a member contribution.
Types of member contributions that are automatically published in the Public Area include but are not limited to: Articles, comments to Articles, Blogs, comments to Blogs, Events. In the Public Area, data allowing identification of the various contributors (such as names, email addresses etc) are not disclosed at the exception of the names of Author(s) and Editors, if any, in Articles and Blogs. Members submitting Events are responsible for not including any personal data in the Event description.
It is the responsibility of the Member to respect the confidentiality of the data he/she has access to in the various areas of the System.
Members shall alone be responsible for ensuring that their contributions (text and other material) are aligned with the purpose set forth in this Article and in no way breach these Terms. Members shall be responsible for ensuring that their content is legal and that they are entitled to publish such content and make it available to third parties. GLC hereby declines all liability for such content.
GLC is not bound to monitor and check content added by members to ensure that no unlawful content and/or content contrary to these Terms appears on the System, but reserves the right to so do. GLC further reserves the right to delete such content without notice, if it discovers, or is informed by third parties, or suspicion exists, that such content breaches applicable law and/or the provisions of these Terms.
Intellectual Property:-
All intellectual property rights pertaining to the System, Website, its software, design, contents (text, pictures, videos and other material), news, updates, notifications, email notifications sent, data and documents uploaded by the Users/Members on the system vests only with the GLC. By using this System, Users indicate that they accept and comply with it.
In particular, the Members Area offers access to contents with reserved rights. These contents may not be copied, transformed or distributed without the prior written consent of the GLC.
Guarantees:-
No guarantees shall be given as to the accuracy of information and opinions conveyed via the System, either expressly or implicitly.
GLC shall give no guarantees regarding the minimum availability of the System. It shall, however, endeavour to maximize such availability. Users shall note that software underlying the System is continually undergoing development and that processes cannot be guaranteed to be fault-free at all times.
GLC expressly reserves the right to block the Members Area without notice, where necessary to investigate malfunctions, for maintenance work or for closer examination of cases of abuse.
Liability:-
GLC hereby disclaims all liability for the System, in particular for content displayed thereon and communications passed via it. GLC shall likewise not be liable for any losses arising from impossibility of use of the System. Such disclaimer shall also apply to interruption, temporary suspension or termination of the services.
GLC shall in no case be liable for content provided by Members. Members are alone responsible for all information and data which they send, display or notify via the Members Area and which may or may not be automatically made accessible in the Public Area.
GLC shall accept no liability for the behaviour of Members and/or third parties or for content or statements forwarded by Members and/or third parties in the context of the services.
GLC shall accept no liability for links, for contents of pages linked, and for content uploaded by Members and/or third parties. GLC has no influence on third-party web sites. If GLC incurs loss through the behaviour of third parties, they shall indemnify GLC accordingly.
GLC shall accept no liability for misuse of Member's or User's accounts by third parties. The Member or User shall be liable him/herself for all action taken by third parties using a Member or User's access details.
GLC shall not be liable for any direct, indirect loss whether past, present or future, due to any negligence attributable to GLC.
Final Provisions:-
Should any provision of these Terms, including the applicable Conflict of Interest Policy, Copyrights notice and Privacy Policy, be considered unworkable, this shall not affect the validity of all or any other provisions. Failure by GLC to implement a provision shall imply no waiver thereof.
Data Protection and Use of Information by GLC:-
Collection, protection, use and transmission of personal data submitted to the System or other User data collected by GLC are ruled by GLC’s Privacy Policy. GLC’s Privacy Policy form part of these Terms. By using this System, Users indicate that they accept and comply with it.
Legal Jurisdiction:-
The relationship between GLC and its Members, Subscribers, Users, Donors and/or Customers shall be subject to substantive Indian law only. With respect to all disputes based on or in connection with any order, transaction or contract, the courts having territorial jurisdiction over Naya Gaon, District Mohali (Punjab), shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
Entire agreement:-
These terms and conditions together with General Usage Terms and Conditions and Data Privacy Policy shall constitute the entire agreement between you and GLC in relation to your use of this System and shall supersede all previous agreements between you and GLC in relation to your use of this System.
